Leading a school has never asked more of the people who do it. The regulations move, the expectations rise, and the days are full before anyone has had time to think.
Most leaders we meet are not looking for someone to tell them what is wrong. They are looking for someone who has done the job, who will sit alongside them, and who will give them an honest view of where they stand.
That is what Jarvis Education was built to do. We do not simply help schools prepare for inspection. We help schools become better schools.

Shaun spent two decades as a teacher, school leader and HMI with Ofsted. He saw how much schools could achieve with the right support, and how rarely it came without judgement. Jarvis Education was built to change that.

Who we are
An independent consultancy for specialist settings
Jarvis Education is an independent education consultancy specialising in independent special schools, alternative provision and SEND settings. We also work with maintained schools, academies, multi-academy trusts and local authorities.
We were founded in 2023 by Shaun Jarvis BA (Hons) PGCE NPQSL, a former His Majesty’s Inspector and school leader with extensive experience in specialist and alternative provision settings.
What began as one consultant is now a national practice supported by a network of 50+ vetted experts, having worked with over 150 schools, trusts and local authorities.

Every expert in our network has led or inspected schools themselves. That is the entry requirement, not a preference. From our experience, what separates a report a school acts on from a report a school files is whether the person who wrote it has stood where the reader is standing. We vet every expert personally and match them to your setting, not to your postcode.
