Adam provides strategic consultancy, school improvement support and neurodiversity-affirming training for schools, trusts and local authorities. With over 15 years of senior leadership experience, including six years as a Headteacher, an MEd in Autism Education and lived experience as an AuDHDer, Adam helps settings bridge the gap between high-level inclusion strategy and everyday classroom practice.
Adam’s track record is rooted in leading complex specialist provision from the ground up. As founding Headteacher of Chatten Free School, Adam project-managed the entire setup, from the initial DfE application and site build through to opening. Adam then led the school for five years, taking it to its first Ofsted Outstanding rating. Before this, Adam served as Headteacher (maternity cover) at Market Field School, providing steady executive leadership across a large provision supporting over 300 pupils with severe and complex needs.
Regional system improvement has been a key focus of Adam’s work. In partnership with Essex County Council, Adam helped establish local authority Autism Hubs across North Essex, designing framework models and leading specialist bases for learners with complex communication, sensory and behavioural profiles.
An experienced keynote speaker and facilitator, Adam regularly delivers practical SEND consultancy and large-scale training to audiences of over 500 educators and care professionals. Whether coaching senior leadership teams through strategic SEN reviews, advising on the design of new specialist provision or delivering grounded, practical staff CPD, Adam’s approach is authentic, jargon-free and focused on building high-trust environments where neurodivergent learners genuinely thrive.
