Andrew Lewin

Educational Consultant, Sustainable High-Performance Partner and Education Leader Andrew has dedicated his professional life to education, building an unusually broad portfolio of school leadership, governance, consultancy, training, coaching and educational development experience. His career has taken him through almost every aspect of school life. He has lived and worked in schools for much of his life and has held senior positions including Headteacher, Deputy Head, Governor, Director of Development, Company Secretary and Appeal Director, alongside roles as Houseparent, Head of Geography and Master i/c Rugby, Hockey and Cricket. This breadth of experience gives him a rare understanding of education from the perspective of leadership, teaching, pastoral care, governance, boarding, development and school-wide strategy. Andrew subsequently joined the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA), where he became Director of Training and later International Director, working with schools and educational professionals in the UK and internationally. He now continues his association with the BSA as a Senior Consultant, delivering training, consultancy and accreditation to boarding schools around the world. As Founder and Managing Director of Project 1000 Ltd, Andrew provides educational consultancy and resilience & wellbeing coaching to individuals, teams and organisations. He is a WRAW Master Practitioner, accredited by the Wellbeing Project to deliver WRAW assessments, feedback and workshops designed to strengthen individual and organisational resilience and wellbeing. Andrew is Education Development Director for Performance Learning, an EdTech organisation using metacognitive assessment and bespoke support to help young people understand how they learn and develop the skills they need to perform at their best. He is an experienced safeguarding trainer and consultant (BSA Senior Consultant, CBAT Associate Trainer, SAFE Associate and former NSPCC Associate Trainer & Consultant) specialising in delivering safeguarding training, audit and consultancy at all levels. Across all of his work, Andrew brings together deep practical experience, strategic educational insight and a strong focus on people. His particular strength lies in connecting educational leadership, personal development, resilience, wellbeing and performance, helping schools, organisations and individuals identify what really matters and then turn that insight into meaningful action. With experience spanning school leadership, safeguarding, governance, boarding, education consultancy, international, EdTech, resilience and coaching, Andrew offers a perspective that is both highly experienced and genuinely holistic.
