Meet Caroline Clarke
Caroline successfully held a variety of roles working in London schools and has worked in the education sector for over 20 years. She was a leading teacher from early in her career. She worked as a deputy head teacher across two very large schools, an infant and nursery, and a junior school. Additionally, Caroline led a DfE accredited National Teaching School. Her work included providing bespoke packages of support to schools (primary and secondary) to significantly improve outcomes, designing and delivering professional development for staff at all levels and leading school-based initial teacher training. Caroline worked as one of His Majesty’s Inspectors in 2023. She continues to inspect weekly as an Ofsted inspector in primary, special (primary and secondary) and non-association independent schools. Additionally, she undertakes whole school reviews, safeguarding reviews, and provides support for leaders and school staff through consultancy work, with a focus on quality of education. Caroline is also a foster carer and foster care ambassador.
