Meet Emma Steele

Emma has demonstrated her leadership abilities across a variety of educational phases and age groups. Her extensive background allows her to draw upon a wide range of experiences, adapting her approach to meet the unique needs of each setting.

Throughout her vast education career, Emma has implemented practical strategies that have raised standards for children and young people. Her hands-on approach and commitment to improvement have contributed to measurable progress in both the settings she has led and those she has worked alongside.

Emma has been County Education Manager for SEN for Hampshire, where her remit went across statutory SEN services, mainstream and special schools, Alternative Provisions and Early Years providers in improving leadership to enable children to thrive. Emma is a passionate advocate for inclusive education with deep expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and has worked at a national level to drive this agenda. She has previously been a headteacher, SENCo and governor and also led the specialist school improvement team for the Local Authority. She partners with schools, trusts, and local authorities to deliver practical leadership strategies that raise standards and improve outcomes for children and young people; believing in a collaborative approach to foster inclusive environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
