Hannah Hall

Associate Consultant

Hannah Hall is a school and college improvement adviser working nationally and internationally across SEND, inclusion, behaviour and culture, alternative and specialist provision, and quality of education. She works with executive and senior leaders as a strategic adviser and improvement partner, providing external review and challenge, shaping strategy and provision, and supporting complex organisational change from diagnosis and design through to implementation, quality assurance and evaluation. With over 20 years’ experience spanning SENCo, senior leadership, Principal of alternative provision and local authority advisory roles, Hannah brings substantial operational and system-level expertise. Her work in Enfield contributed to permanent exclusions reducing to 0.01%, the third lowest rate in London and sixth lowest nationally. A significant strand of Hannah’s current work involves advising schools, trusts and colleges on the development of inclusive systems and graduated provision. This includes organisation-wide inclusion strategies, internal alternative provision and inclusion bases, alongside strategic advisory support for organisations establishing or redesigning alternative provision. Her work spans needs analysis, models of provision, referral and reintegration pathways, curriculum and pedagogy, staffing and leadership structures, implementation and quality assurance. Hannah also undertakes targeted improvement work within special schools and specialist settings, working with leaders and staff to strengthen provision for children and young people with complex needs, including autism and PMLD. She develops staff knowledge, confidence and practice through strategic advice, training, coaching and modelling, with particular expertise in curriculum and pedagogy, communication and regulation, therapeutic approaches and interventions, and adapting environments to increase access, participation and independence. She has also written Expressions of Interest for academy trusts developing autism resource bases and the associated strategic implementation plans. Her approach is strongly rooted in relational practice, belonging and mattering, supporting organisations to develop cultures in which children and young people are known, valued and able to participate and succeed. Alongside her organisational consultancy, Hannah provides advocacy and advisory support to families navigating SEND systems, EHCPs and educational provision, ensuring the experiences of children, young people and families continue to inform her strategic work. Hannah is a Visiting Fellow facilitating NPQH and NPQSENCO, a Senior Fellow of the International Forum of Inclusion Practitioners (IFIP), and an experienced national keynote speaker, international trainer and school improvement partner.
