Meet Sam Whittaker
Experienced practitioner, trainer & leader with over 20 years supporting the health, learning and development of Young People across Education, Children’s Services and Youth Work sectors.
Currently Secondary Assistant Headteacher responsible for Inclusion, SEND, Personal Development, Citizenship, RSHE, PSHE, Mental Health and SMSC.
Alongside my leadership role, I also hold a long term secondment with Local Authority Safeguarding Education Team and Public Health leading on PSHE and Safeguarding. This role includes support schools across East Sussex to deliver effective PSHE through training, resource development and auditing. I facilitate Designated Safeguarding Lead and develop wider education safeguarding training.
