Meet Vicky Matthews
Vicky has worked in education for 20 years with over 14 years extensive leadership experience in a range of contexts, including as a Deputy Headteacher and Leadership Consultant in both Primary and Secondary phases. She holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and is a qualified Advanced Skills Teacher. Vicky currently works as an Educational Consultant across the South-East, East and London regions and has significant experience of leading inspections.
Vicky also works closely with the States of Guernsey and Sark as an Educational Adviser and School Improvement Partner, as well as an independent inspector for Sark. Vicky has a keen interest in developing the quality of education through curriculum design, quality assurance, and continued professional development, including teacher training and whole school improvement.
Vicky delivers regular training to colleagues from all phases of the education sector, including governance, with a particular expertise regarding inspections.
