The Comprehensive School Improvement Partner (SIP) package gives you that. It is a full year-long partnership, built around your school, based on evidence, and matched to the renewed education inspection framework.
What is the Comprehensive School Improvement Partner package?
It is our most in-depth level of support. You get a named school improvement partner who works with your school across the full academic year. That includes six planned visits, usually two a term, deep dives, case sampling, and learning walks across every area of the framework, and support for you, your leaders, and your governors/trustees.
It suits schools that are ready to commit to a full year of evidence-based improvement. That might be because you are recovering from a hard inspection, getting ready for one, or strengthening particular evaluation areas.
Who is the Comprehensive package for?
It is built for maintained schools, maintained special schools, independent schools, academies, multi-academy trusts, alternative provision, and SEND units that want close support all year round. It works well for schools in a formal category, schools that have just been inspected, schools joining a trust, or schools making big changes quickly. Or, you may just want an increased level of challenge and support!
What does the Comprehensive package include?
Every partnership is shaped around your school. A typical package includes:
- A named senior School Improvement Partner for the full year
- Six on-site visits across the year, usually two a term, covering all areas of the framework
- A full pre-inspection review where it helps
- Deep dives, case sampling, and learning walks into curriculum, behaviour, attendance, inclusion, SEND, and personal development, plus reviews of safeguarding, Pupil Premium, and EAL provision
- Adaptive teaching reviews, including cold-call questioning, retrieval practice, and tiered vocabulary in the classroom, with joint learning walks and lesson visits with leaders at all levels
- Leadership coaching and team development built around your needs
- A written report after every visit, with clear actions and dates
- A full remote website compliance audit covering statutory content, SEND, safeguarding, and complaints, and a policy review against current DfE, KCSIE, and ISS requirements, with a gap analysis
