What Is Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training?
It’s practical, up-to-date training for anyone holding, or preparing to hold, the Designated Safeguarding Lead role. We cover the full statutory remit under the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education, from recognising and responding to concerns to referrals, record-keeping, and leading a strong safeguarding culture.

Who Is This Training For?
It’s designed for all education settings: maintained schools, academies, and multi-academy trusts, Alternative Provisions, and SEND Units/Hubs. It suits DSLs who are new to the role and those refreshing their training, which is expected at least every two years. Trusts often run it across schools for a consistent standard.
